One (1)

When one is used as an adjective (as in ‘one car’) then it comes after the noun and agrees with the gender of the noun. السيارة واحدة and بيت واحد

Two (2)

Two of something is different because dual form of the noun used. The possessives are huma and kuma (هما و كما). But also note that the noon is dropped of the end of the dualised noun.

Three to ten.

From three to nine the plural form of the noun is used, the adjective comes in front of the noun and takes the opposite gender; ثلاثة بيوت و ثلاث سيارات

It should be noted that non-human plurals are considered feminine singular nouns (so هذه etc).

Eleven to nineteen

The noun has the singular form and uses the same gender for both digits. Note that the feminine form of the numbers here has the taa-marbuta on both the عشر and the unit digit.

Twenty onwards

The tens digits are gender neutral and so are the same for any noun. The unit digit should agree with the gender of the noun.

Telling the time!

For telling the time we use the ordinal number (ie first o’clock) in the feminine form.

One hundred does not have a masculine or feminine form

ليس  الرقم “مئة” اسم المذكر او اسم المونث
